Occupational Therapist

Liverpool NSW – Permanent Role

Due to rapid expansion, an opportunity for a Full Time Occupational Therapist to join our team based in Liverpool or Parramatta.

About The Role:

We are looking for a fun, energetic Occupational Therapist who has experience working with children, and has a passion for working with children with disabilities.
You will have an enthusiastic ‘can-do’ attitude, likes to take initiative and you’re ready for a challenge!

You will manage a diverse and challenging caseload which involves providing one-on-one intervention, to running therapy programs, school visits, assessments, and parent and educator coaching / training.

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy (OT)
  • Current APHRA registration
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload of customers
  • Highly motivated with excellent communication skills

Intake Officer

About Us

Due to rapid expansion, an opportunity for a Full Time “Client Intake Officer” is available to join our team at our Liverpool Head office.

About the Role

Working at our Liverpool office, this position will provide Client Intake support to all new and existing clients within our business. As an important role in supporting the Allied Health Team, you will be the first point of contact for all customer enquiries.
Predominately with NDIS related referrals, you will conduct the screening process using the intake protocols and prepare documentation such as service agreements.

You will have an excellent standard of communication, customer service and administration skills. Representing the Skilled Health values, you will also have excellent, person-centred and positive interactions with new clients, their families, carers, external service providers, and referring contacts.

The main responsibilities of this role includes;

  • Following up and maintaining new and existing customers.
  • Managing and responding to web, phone and email enquiries with efficient contact turnaround times
  • Managing leads and tracking lead follows up
  • Conducting initial contact and needs identifications for referrals.
  • Allocating new referrals including service agreements and forms
  • Schedule appointments and managing Therapist calendars.
  • QA of files to ensure current status is reflected and flag those ready for invoicing

About You

  • You will have a proven track record in providing exceptional customer service in a similar environment.
  • A “people person” who enjoys talking to and helping others
  • All aspects of Inbound / Outbound calls
  • Must be a confident and driven self-starter
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and time manage tasks
  • You have a creative approach to problem-solving and can think on your feet.
  • Experience working with NDIS would be of advantage but not essential

Allied Health Assistant

Liverpool NSW – Permanent Role

About the Role
The role of the Allied Health Assistant is to provide support working alongside our team of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists. This involves assisting the therapists in group programs, general therapy planning, resource management, and direct client work. Skilled Health’s services are delivered within a person centred, approach; identifying the individual’s strengths and needs to support their individual goals in their NDIS package.

About you – Skills and experience

Ideally you will have:

  • experience working within a therapy setting and also have customer service experience.
  • exceptional communication skills
  • experience dealing with challenging behaviours
  • friendly, pleasant and calm manner when dealing with clients
  • Ability to prepare and present written and verbal reports.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Some knowledge of the health sector and the NDIS funding options would be an advantage

Is essential you have:

  • National Police check
  • Working with Children check
  • Current full or probationary Drivers Licence & own reliable vehicle
  • Certificate in Allied Health Assistance
