Skilled Health is a Registered Provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

The NDIS is a new government funded program supporting people with disability. This is achieved by taking an individualised and life-long approach through community linkages and individualised funding plans.

As the NDIS rolls out across Australia, people with disability will be able to decide where and how they want to invest the funding support they receive from the Federal Government. This means that people will have greater access to the reasonable and necessary support they require, based on their individual needs, goals and aspirations. Supports range from linkages to existing services and supports within the participant’s community, and/or reasonable and necessary funded supports.

Skilled Health’s caring and experienced Allied Health Professionals will work collaboratively with participants to achieve person-centred care. We recognise the importance of empowerment in the design of plans so that individual choices can be made to maximise their potential.
