This training aims to provide attendees with the necessary understanding and skills to function effectively as a member of their Health & Safety Committee (HSC) to make contributions to the organisation, comply with WHS legislation and minimise health and safety risks in their workplace.
WHS Induction
This training aims to provide participants with a basic knowledge of WHS legislative requirements, principles of risk management and the prevention of injury and illness across all industries
Due Diligence Training
This training aims to provide information on key elements of the WHS Act to persons conducting a business or undertaking and their officers, with particular emphasis on the positive duty to exercise Due Diligence.

SafeWork NSW Approved

As a SafeWork NSW Approved Training Provider, Skilled Health is approved to deliver the following training courses:

Health & Representative (5 days)
This training course meets the requirements for elected and deputy HSR’s to gain an understanding of their role and powers under the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Act.
Health & Safety Representative Refresher (1 day)
This course will revise the information and skills attained in the initial five day HSR training course and assist HSR’s carry out their role and functions under the WHS legislation. This course can be attended by HSR’s every 12 months.

Communication & Negotiation
This course will aim to provide participants an understanding of the importance of communication in the workplace, how to engage in effective communication, how to identify barriers to effective communication, understand the problem solving process and the importance of negotiation skills to achieve a positive outcome.
Stretch Programs
Stretch training programs can be tailored and delivered onsite to assist your workers in warming up their muscles to prevent the chances of injury.
